Valuing the Unpaid Labour of GI2018 "In Kind" is a research project by visual artists Janie Nicoll and Ailie Rutherford, for Glasgow International 2018 mapping the hidden economies of the festival, charting the unseen and unaccounted for efforts that enable the festival to take place; including support in kind, unpaid labour, favours and volunteer hours. In order to do this, we are asking all artists and cultural workers participating in GI2018 to consent to participation in our research, by emailing [email protected] Once we have your consent we can begin the process of logging your unpaid hours and in kind contributions to GI2018. All data will be gathered anonymously. For more information and to add your details to the In Kind mailing list please go to inkindproject.wordpress.com/ We look forward to hearing from you and your participation in this project Best wishes Janie and Ailie.
